Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 cup finely chopped onion

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 Hayter’s Unseasoned Turkey Breast Tenderloins cut into strips

1 tablespoon curry powder

1 medium royal gala apple, cored and thinly sliced (apple choice is up to you – but we prefer royal gala!)

3 pouch pitas (whole wheat or white – your choice)

1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt


Method of Preparation

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the turkey strips and cook until lightly browned and cooked all the way through.

Stir in onion and lemon juice.

Add salt.

Cook until onion is tender.

Add curry powder and continue cooking until heated through.

Add water gradually until you reach your desired consistency.

Remove from heat.

Stir in apple.

Stuff pitas with the mixture.

Add dollops of yogurt to serve.
