The kabobs are easy and sure to please as an appetizer or main for your next gathering. They are simple to make and can be tailored to include whatever veggies and/or fruit you have on hand.
Ingredients
- 1 Pkg of Hayter’s Farm Turkey Steaks (Choose the flavor of your liking)
- 2-5 Veggies or Fruit of your choice – pineapple, peach & mangoes are great options for fruit. Bell peppers, red onion, zucchini & asparagus are great options for veggies.
- Skewers and/or toothpicks of your choice. If doing wooden, soak them for approximately 1-2 hours before assembly.
Method of Preparation
- Preheat your BBQ to a medium heat.
- Cut your turkey into 1/2 to 1 inch cubes.
- Cut your fruit and veggies into the same size of cubes as you do your turkey. ‘
- Drain the water from your skewers and/or toothpicks and start adding the product to your skewers in different patterns.
- Put the skewers on your BBQ and flip often to ensure even cooking. Flipping often also helps to not burn your meat and veg/fruit.
- Use your thermometer to ensure the turkey is cooked to 165F. Once it is, take it off the grill and serve immediately!
Note: This recipes makes about 10+ 5inch skewers depending on size of your cut ingredients.
