
One pan meals for an easy and quick yet nutritious dinner are a staple for us. Enjoy this flavorful dish on a bed of rice and top with green onions and sesame seeds for a satisfying meal!
Ingredients
- 2lbs of Hayter’s Farm Turkey Breast, diced into 2 inch cubes
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup tamari soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 3-5 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped ginger
- Chili flakes
- Jasmine or Basmati rice for serving (optional)
- Sliced green onions (optional)
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Method of Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 450° F.
2. Oil your baking sheet or casserole dish for easy clean-up.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, ketchup, tamari (or soy), orange juice, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes.
4. Arrange the turkey and broccoli in the prepared baking dish and pour the sauce over. Stir well so that it is evenly distributed. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the turkey is cooked through and the sauce is bubbling.
5. Turn the oven to broil and broil until the turkey caramelizes on top. This will only take a few minutes – so watch closely so as to not burn your meal.
6. Serve on top of rice and top with green onions and sesame seeds (optional).
