Ingredients

All of our Roasts are tumbled in a light brine to keep the meat moist and juicy.

Brine ingredients include: Turkey, water, salt, dextrose, sodium phosphate.


Method of Preparation

Conventional Oven:

Remove packaging before cooking.

  • Place fresh or thawed roast in roasting pan and pre-heat oven to 190C (375F)
  • Cook for 1hr per kg, or until internal temperature reaches 74C (165F)
  • Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes before carving.

Slow Cooker:

Remove packaging before cooking.

  • Place fresh or thawed roast in the slow cooker.
  • Slow cooker guideline:

-1kg Roast: Cook on high for 1 hour, the low of 4 hours

-2.3kg Roast: Cook on high for 1 hour, then low for 7 hours

  • Roast is done when juices run clear or internal temperature reaches 74C (165F)


Tips

For best results, we suggest cooking your roast from a fresh or thawed state.
